- Patients requiring extraction-based orthodontic treatment
- Presence of deep overbite requiring lower incisor intrusion
- Age range: 18-30 years
- Good general health
- Good oral hygiene

- Systemic diseases affecting bone metabolism
- Previous orthodontic treatment
- Periodontal disease
- Smoking
- Pregnancy or lactation
