Age: 18 and older, up to 50. Sex: female. Healthy volunteers: not accepted.

• Elective lower segment cesarean section
• American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status II
• Provided informed consent

You may not qualify if…

• Known drug allergy
• Presence of significant comorbidities
• Emergency surgery
• Documented psychiatric illness
