Age: 10 and older, up to 21. Sex: any. Healthy volunteers: not accepted.

You may qualify if…

• Age: 10-21 years
• Diagnosis of pilonidal disease
• Fitzpatrick skin type IV, V, or VI

You may not qualify if…

• History of photosensitivity
• Actively inflamed pilonidal sinus (will be offered enrollment upon resolution).
