Age: 18 and older, up to 90. Sex: any. Healthy volunteers: not accepted.

- 18<age<90

- pleurodesis
- decortication
- emergent surgery
- local anesthetic allergy
- intraoperative complication (inadvertent hemorrhage or conversion to open surgery)
- bilateral pulmonary resection
