Age: 7 and older, up to 21. Sex: any. Healthy volunteers: not accepted.

You may qualify if…

• 7-21 years, mild to moderate ulcerative colitis

You may not qualify if…

• UC therapy within 4 weeks of study medication initiation
• infectious colitis, -pregnancy
