- Age >18 years
- Acute hypoxic respiratory failure (P/F < 200)
You may not qualify if…
- Acute pulmonary edema
- Chest wall deformities
- Immediate need for Mechanical Ventilation
- Pregnancy
- Hypercapnic RF
