Who can join
Age: 18 and older. Sex: any. Healthy volunteers: accepted.
You may qualify if…
- Patient meets standard indication for an ICD/ CRT-D and will be implanted with an FDA approved SJM ICD/ CRT-D and compatible defibrillation lead system in the left pectoral region.
- Patient is able to tolerate DFT testing.
You may not qualify if…
- Patient has the pulse generator on the right side.
- Patient is pregnant.
- Patient is less than 18 years old.
- SVC coil was turned ON during DFT testing
