Age: 18 and older, up to 75. Sex: any. Healthy volunteers: accepted.

You may qualify if…

• opiate dependence
• Ham-D > 14

You may not qualify if…

• no psychiatric contraindications to using escitalopram
• no medical contraindications to using escitalopram
• methadone dose < 30
• no current SSRI use
