Age: 6 and older, up to 18. Sex: any. Healthy volunteers: accepted.

You may qualify if…

• Confirmed diagnosis of childhood absence epilepsy or juvenile absence epilepsy
• No other serious health problems or neurological problems
• 6 years or older

You may not qualify if…

• No history of myoclonic or tonic-clonic seizures
