• DSM-IV diagnosis of schizophrenia
• PANSS-T of at least 70 at screening and baseline

You may not qualify if…

• Clinically significant disease of the heart, kidneys, liver or gastrointestinal system
• DSM-IV diagnosis of psychiatric disorder other than schizophrenia
