You may qualify if…
- Blunt traumatic brain injury (Marshall II-V)
- Stable 6 hr. head CT
- Stable hemoglobin
You may not qualify if…
- Premorbid coagulopathy
- Pregnancy
- < 18 y.o.
- Need for therapeutic anticoagulation
- Heparin allergy
