Age: 13 and older. Sex: any. Healthy volunteers: not accepted.

You may qualify if…

• Patients must have:
• HIV infection.
• Newly diagnosed or first progression of CMV retinitis.

You may not qualify if…

• Prior Medication:
• Excluded:
• Prior therapy (or less than 2 weeks) with protease inhibitor other than saquinavir.
